Opportunity

 

Medidata Rave Data Integration Engineer / Senior (level depends upon experience)

You will play a key role in designing and maintaining data integrations between Medidata Rave, LMS, and reporting systems supporting critical data workflows.

 

A strong background in Medidata Rave is required to support the continued development and integration of data from external LIMS to Rave and from Rave into reporting systems. Extensive experience with C# and .NET is also required.

 
 
Key Responsibilities

 

The primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Develop and maintains APIs using REST services or newer technologies as they become available
  • Work closely with the programming team to develop specifications for system integrations
  • Collaborate with the Rave programming staff should any custom function development be required to facilitate the integration
  • Document all code with internal comments
  • Plan for and executing unit testing 
  • Collaborate for developing training materials for the use of the integration
  • Adapt to frequently changing requirements, priorities, and schedules

 

What You Need

Level of Education Required

Minimum Bachelor’s degree

 

Prior Experience 

  • Required minimum 3 years of experience building C# .NET API integrations
  • Required knowledge of the Rave Object Model
  • Hands-on experience with Rave Web Services, ideally through the creation of one or more APIs that integrate with Rave
  • Preferred experience with Rave Configurable DataSets
  • Extensive knowledge of .NET and C#, including:

Experience developing backend applications using C# .NET

Experience building web APIs in WCF frameworks

Experience with multi-threaded programming implementations

 

  • Experience working in a Part 11 compliant working environment

 

Additional Requirements

  • If remote, must have a home office
  • Ability to travel domestically; advance notice will be provided should the occasion arise
  • Must be fluent in English

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $120,000-160,000 with bonus potential including a sign-on bonus. We will assess the specific title and level of entry during the interview and assessment process since the actual salary offer will be based on a number of factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies for the role.
