Theradex Oncology is a  full-service CRO specializing in oncology. The company manages global oncology trials and programs. The company was founded in 1982 working with the National Cancer Institute, which led to its expansion to working with industry sponsors developing cancer therapeutics. As a service-based company we support both domestic and international sponsors in the conduct of both early and late phase trials.

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist develops strategies and leverages technology to recruit top talent and responsible for the full talent acquisition life-cycle including building our talent pipeline.  A strong background in talent acquisition is required with prior experience recruiting in the clinical research industry.  

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Implements strategies and leverage technologies to identify a qualified candidate pool and build talent pipeline.
  • Partners with hiring managers to understand skills and competencies required for positions to effectively source and screen candidates and assess potential job fit for the role and the company.
  • Understands business needs, identify opportunities and clearly articulate talent acquisitions strategies to both internal and external clients.
  • Provides a consultative approach and advises hiring managers on job postings and consistent interview and selection process.
  • Conducts sourcing through various channels and recruitment efforts inclusive of developing job postings, placing ads, conducts preliminary screening of qualified candidates, coordinates interviews and assessments, extends offers and completes pre-employment background verifications.
  • Utilizes the applicant tracking system (ATS) to track applicants and dispositions candidates accordingly.
  • Identifies various networking opportunities to expand outreach efforts, attends career fairs and builds effective relationship with agencies.
  • Maintains metrics to enhance sourcing and recruitment strategies and monitors progress of outreach efforts.
  • Makes efforts to increase employer branding on social media sites and attends industry related events.
  • Represents Theradex Oncology in a positive, professional manner and serves as a brand ambassador.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Must be willing and able travel up to 15% to attend meetings, career fairs, outreach efforts and industry related events.

What You Need

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years prior relevant experience is required inclusive of experience recruiting in the clinical research industry.
  • Strong proficiency with LinkedIn and other Internet search engines is required.
  • Strong knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems required, preferably iCIMS.
  • Demonstrates ability to build and maintain effective relationships with others, establishing collaborative partnerships, trust and shared purpose.
  • Must possess a forward-thinking approach with a high level of agility, diplomacy and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Organization and time management skills are essential; ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple requests.
  • Strong sense of urgency and follow-up skills required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Knowledge of relevant employment laws and willingness to stay abreast of changes.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $90,000-$120,000 with bonus potential. The actual salary offer will be based on a number of factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies for the role.
